distribution

LFP Media has appointed Eurovision Services (ESSA) to assist with the administrative and technical coordination of signal transmissions for all Ligue 1 McDonald's matches. ESSA will provide the necessary technical plans, programme coordination and deliver signals to broadcasters.

European Satellite transmissions:
The Eurovision Services (ESSA) distribution network is MPEG4 4:2:0 digital standard with DVBS2 modulation, or in MPEG4 HD with NS4 16 APSK modulation, depending on the matches. All Ligue 1 McDonald's transmissions will be distributed in high definition with a minimum of 21.503 Mbit/s MPEG4 on either Eutelsat 10B 10 degEast Transponder EVS72(Spot 105) or Eutelsat 7B located at 7°E.

Asian Satellite transmissions:
In principle, all transmissions will be made available on Asiasat 5 at 100.5° East for Asia, Oceania and the Middle East and Intelsat 8056. Asian satellite package transmissions will all be MPEG4 HD with NS4 16 APSK or DVBS-2 modulation to maintain the best possible signal quality.

Other distribution methods:
A different type of distribution (SRT / BT Tower) can be arranged in specific cases when European and Asian Satellite distribution aren’t possible.

Booking procedures:
All International Broadcasters should enter their bookings into the Ligue 1 Broadcast Hub before the closing of the campaigns (one notification is sent at the opening and a second one 2 days ahead of the closing of each campaign).

Technical coordination:
ESSA will provide a helpdesk for broadcasters before and during all Ligue 1 McDonald's transmissions and any incident should be reported immediately via telephone to the Eurovision Control Centre (EVC) in Geneva. EVC Geneva tel.: +41 22 717 2790. Broadcasters are responsible for their own downlink arrangements from multilateral satellite transmissions.

Broadcasters will be able to apply for an interview via the Interview Module by submitting an editorial set-up.

For all access requests, please contact LFP Media team.
