Marketing opportunities

LIGUE 1 EXPERIENCE

Immersive experience around a Ligue 1 matchday gathering medias and influencers (each broadcaster has the possibility to invite 2 guests). The operation includes among other:

  • 2-3 days journey in France including hotels and french restaurants
  • VIP tickets and exclusive accesses on game day(s)
  • Club visit(s)
  • Interview opportunities with players, staff and/or club members
  • Merchandising
  • Cultural and touristic activities
  • Transportation in France

All the activities above are offered by LFP Media. Transportation to France is the only expense that must be covered by the broadcaster.

Trophy Tour

The Trophy Tour is an exciting initiative aimed at showcasing the prestigious Ligue 1 McDonald’s trophy to international audiences, sparking global excitement for the league. This worldwide tour engages fans through various events, which include meet-and-greet sessions with football legends, interactive fan zones, and exclusive content opportunities that bring fans closer to the action.
The primary objective of the Trophy Tour is to strengthen the global presence of Ligue 1 McDonald’s and foster deeper connections with fans in key regions. LFP Media will collaborate closely with local broadcasters to amplify the reach and impact of these events, organizing exhibitions of the Ligue 1 Trophy at prominent local gatherings, whether targeting consumers (B2C) or businesses (B2B).

Ligue 1 Touch

Ligue 1 Touch aims to connect with fans around the world and elevate Ligue 1 McDonald's on an international scale. The Ligue 1 Touch program will involve multiple fan engagement initiatives in various countries throughout the season. The goal is simple: to promote French professional soccer and Ligue 1 McDonald's through physical events and activations in strategic territories for its growth. To achieve this, LFP Media proposes collaborating with local broadcasters in each market to co-create the event, working hand in hand. This marketing operation will be organized around a Ligue 1 match to engage fans and enhance the global visibility of Ligue 1 McDonald's.

Media days

Each season, Ligue 1 McDonald’s organizes Media Days sessions to provide International Broadcasters with a variety of exclusive content. These sessions include:

  • Player photos: High-quality images of players that can be used for promotional purposes.
  • Digital content: Custom images featuring players with country flags
  • Personalized player messages tailored for specific regions. Generic player messages are also available on the Ligue 1 Broadcast Hub in the "Raw Footage" section under "Player Messages."

The content gathered during Media Days can be utilized across different platforms, whether on air during live game broadcasts or shared on social media accounts to engage with fans globally. This initiative allows broadcasters to personalize and enrich their coverage of Ligue 1.

doOh campaign

Ligue 1 McDonald’s can collaborate with International Broadcasters for dedicated DOOH campaigns. This initiative is designed to highlight key celebrations and milestones from the Ligue 1 McDonald’s, focusing on public locations such as streets, train stations, shopping malls, and other high-traffic areas.
By leveraging large digital screens and billboards, the campaign aims to bring the excitement of Ligue 1 to life in everyday public spaces, engaging both football fans and the general public.

Dedicated campaign between Ligue 1 McDonald’s and an International Broadcaster to showcase specific celebrations on public locations (streets, train stations, malls …).

LIGUE 1 mcdonald’s MERCHANDISE

Each season, as part of its collaboration with Ligue 1 McDonald’s, we offer a range of exclusive merchandise, which includes signed jerseys, official balls, and various branded goodies. These premium items are distributed to International Broadcasters as part of the ongoing partnership, aimed at enhancing the visibility and appeal of Ligue 1 across global markets.
The promotional materials are designed to engage football fans and can be effectively used in giveaway campaigns, contests, and special promotions, offering supporters a chance to win unique and authentic Ligue 1 merchandise.
